The following questions are some of the
most frequently asked by people considering a Website.
If you have a question which is not on this page, please
e-mail
us.
Why do I need a Website?
You need a Website to be in the same market
place as your competitors, or better still to be there
first. It is your opportunity to promote your company to
millions of potential customers.

You are probably already using marketing
brochures to attract customers, but have you ever thought
about distributing over 600 million?
According to the CIA's World Factbook, the
Worldwide Internet Population for 2002, was 604,111,719
and the forecast for 2004 is 945 million.
How much does it cost?
There is no definitive answer to this question.

The cost for a new Website will vary
considerably, according to the complexity of the design
and the number of pages.
The best way to get some idea is to
complete our pricing
form. The form asks only the most basic of
questions, but is sufficient for us to e-mail you a price
guide.

We also have frequent special offers which are
advertised on our pricing
page.
How long will it take?
The key issues here are how many pages your
Website will have, what format you provide the content in
and the amount of design work involved.
For example, if you want a Website of 10
pages and provide all of the textural content in Word
format, the time taken to produce your Website will be
considerably less than if you wanted 10 pages but sent us
handwritten content to input ourselves.

An approximate time would be 3-4 weeks,
with one of those weeks being dedicated to producing the
design and the remainder to adding the content. |
Who registers my Website with the
search engines?

We will register your website for you with any of the
leading search engines that offer a free submission
scheme. For a search engine that has an annual
subscription fee and/or a Cost-Per-Click (CPC) scheme, we
will direct you to the appropriate registration page, but
will be unable to carry out the actual process as your
payment details will be required
The free registration can take up to six weeks for your
website to be indexed and with no guarantee that it will
be accepted.
The fee based registration schemes guarantee that your
website will be accepted and regularly indexed, usually
once every 24hrs.
The choice is yours.
How do I update my Website?
There are three options available to you.

The first is to let us maintain your
Website. We will update the content at a much lower rate
than we charge for new Websites.
The second option would be to let someone
else update it for you, although we would obviously prefer
it if you stayed with us.
Lastly, if you have some knowledge of HTML
you could update the Website yourself.
Who owns the copyright?
Even this question is not as clear cut as it should be.
We are the copyright holders for all
original design, graphics* and source code.
You obviously have the copyright on the
content you supplied us with.
The Website will almost certainly include
common code which will be on many Websites, e.g. rollover
buttons.

*The resolution of images designed for the
web is not good enough to be used for printed material, so
there is little advantage to owning such images. |
